Pontiac Gran Prix
Il viaggio negli USA è giunto alla seconda settimana e ho deciso di aprire un nuovo progetto per facilitare la visione delle foto. Nella prima settimana il brutto tempo imperversava, ma alla fine del 6° giorno un arcobaleno lasciava presagire un cambiamento.
Dopo aver attraversato gli stati di Washington e Idaho, mi trovo ora nel Montana. Nella Clearwater National Forest ho conosciuto Il District Ranger Douglas Gober, che mi ha fatto visitare la centrale di Orofino. Mi sono poi diretto a nord, verso il confine col Canada e ho attraversato il Glacier National Park; impressionante! Sono ridisceso verso sud percorrendo la 89 e la 287, su un altopiano dove pascoli e coltivazioni di grano si perdono all’orizzonte.
Nei prossimi giorni mi dirigerò verso il Wyoming per visitare lo Yellowstone National Park. Essendo in anticipo sulla tabella di marcia potrei fermarmi qualche giorno all’interno del parco…

PS: mi sono dimenticato di presentarvi la compagna di viaggio, l’auto di media cilindrata che mi hanno dato a Tacoma, una Pontiac Gran Prix…

I met Andrew in the national Forest At the Rattle Fire site Hwy 138 East, Oregon USA. I escorted him through the 15 mile detour on a windy road that went past the main fire camp. I don’t understand this language nor can I read it so I am at a loss as to whether he will recieve this message or not before he leaves Roseburg. Andrew, you can get a tour of the fire camp and the main operating center through the regional office of the forest service. Your excitement when we were at the end of the detour was contageous. Thought you might have time to schedule a tour. Best of luck on your journey through Roseburg!

I should reply to the comment below, saying that I would have accepted the invitation but as I’ve been moving every day, I’m not in Roseborg anymore but I’m already in California.
I thank Becky for having guided me through the forests along the 138 East.
I was always warmly welcomed by the forest service in each single State I visited
And in case You might visit Switzerland one day….
